Just discovered arc4random_uniform. Should have known better before. Just need the outbound value, no need to call modulo and hope it’s random enough. #openbsd
I love this command to generate random #passwords : “jot -rcs ” 42 32 126”. 42 is the length, 32 is the ascci code of space, 126 is ascii code of ~. #openbsd
Done. /var and /home switched. I just rebooted in single user mode then copied data and edited fstab. Easy peasy. By the way, I cleaned up a bit of useless things. It feels good
I’m starting to miss space on /var. Should I consider changing httpd chroot to /home/something? #openbsd
I’d like to programmatically generate short printable notices. At first, I thougt to use #mandoc + -T pdf flag, but I need to insert a picture (QRcode). Any other idea?
This is the first time I use clonezilla. I’m impressed : it is storing an image on my remote SSH server, and it’s super easy!
just discovered zbar, to decode qrcode on commandline without requiring a phone
This way, I found back my girlfriend’s forgotten password after several attempts
currently having fun with crypt_checkpass(3) on #openbsd
