We bought our new truck (2025 GWM Canon) recently to replace the ‘ol 2nd hand Nissan Navara we bought that just had too many things go wrong with it, and I don’t have time or energy to learn to be a diesel mechanic haha 🤣 – So yes, the SCT-16 has a Tare (unladen weight) of 2150Kg and a maximum legal (ATM) weight of 2,800Kg.

To be honest though, for a mid-range and moderately priced truck, even though it’s made in China (what isn’t?!), it’s actually a very nice truck.
